About This Talk
This track will discuss latest trends in deploying AI/ML in a number of verticals using tools such as Platform for Healthcare, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning. We also have subject matter experts in AI algorithm, unsupervised AI, and tensor methods along with Data Science, who are making these latest trends possible. One trend more relevant lately is Responsible AI which focuses on ensuring the ethical, transparent and accountable use of AI technologies in a manner consistent with user expectations, organizational values, and societal laws and norms.
Speakers
Dr. Satya Mallick is the CEO of OpenCV.org. In 2017, he was named one of the top 30 AI people to follow on Twitter for 2017 by IBM's AI blog. Under Dr. Mallick's leadership, OpenCV has grown beyond a computer vision library to an organization that caters to the computer vision community through educational courses, edge AI hardware, competitions, forum and services. In his role as an educator, Dr. Mallick teaches OpenCV's popular computer vision and deep learning courses. He is also the principal author of LearnOpenCV.com - one of the largest computer vision blogs on the internet. Dr. Mallick is also a co-founder and CEO of OpenCV.ai. As the for-profit arm of OpenCV.org, the company provides consulting and implementation expertise for computer vision, deep learning and machine learning projects. Dr. Mallick received his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego.
Anima Anandkumar is a Bren Professor at Caltech and Director of ML Research at NVIDIA. She was previously a Principal Scientist at Amazon Web Services. She has received several honors such as Alfred. P. Sloan Fellowship, NSF Career Award, Young investigator awards from DoD, and Faculty Fellowships from Microsoft, Google, Facebook, and Adobe. She is part of the World Economic Forum's Expert Network. She is passionate about designing principled AI algorithms and applying them in interdisciplinary applications. Her research focus is on unsupervised AI, optimization, and tensor methods.
Steve Nouri is a data science leader who has evolved the way people look at AI and innovations. An author, academic and technical leader by profession, he aims to inspire people through the latest technology trends and projects and empowers prospective data scientists through high-quality education and learning materials. He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, ICT Professional of the Year Gold Disruptor, and an accomplished influencer on LinkedIn. From humble beginnings as a software engineer and startup founder, he has worked in different IT roles before joining the Australian Computer Society as the Head of Data Science and AI.

Helen is recognized as a thought leader by organizations including IBM, Onalytica and Thinkers360. She speaks regularly at conferences including SXSW, TiECon, DMS, and Money2020.
Sanjeev Agrawal serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer for LeanTaaS. He was Google’s first Head of Product Marketing. Since then, he has led three successful startups – CEO at Aloqa (acquired by Motorola), VP Products & Marketing at TellMe Networks (acquired by Microsoft) and Founder & CEO at Collegefeed (acquired by AfterCollege). Sanjeev graduated Phi Beta Kappa with an EECS degree from MIT and also spent time at McKinsey and Cisco Systems. He is a frequent speaker at HIMSS, EBPOM, Predictive Analytics World and other industry events, and also writes on his personal blog at http://medium.com/@saagrawa. He is an avid squash player and has been named by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the top entrepreneurs innovating in Healthcare.
