Roland Manger is a Co-Founder and Partner at Earlybird. As part of his 23-year investment track record, he also initiated Earlybird Digital East, a line of Venture Capital funds dedicated to Emerging Europe. The investment in UiPath ?s Seed round was part of Digital East Fund I.
He gained entrepreneurial experience with Cybernet AG, a provider of Internet and system integration services which was listed on NASDAQ and Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and at Ditec AG, a German spin-out from Digital Equipment Corporation in Boston, where he was Director of Business Development.
Previously he worked as a strategy consultant with The MAC Group and Gemini Consulting in the telecom and media industries. He studied Computer Science, Operations Research, and business at KIT in Germany, graduating with a MSc equivalent degree, and an MBA from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
