Chandar Pattabhiram is a seasoned marketing executive who brings to Coupa more than 23 years of experience in both fast-paced and large technology companies including Marketo, IBM, Badgeville, Cast Iron Systems, Jamcracker, and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
Prior to joining Coupa, Pattabhiram recently was CMO at Marketo where he was responsible for all aspects of marketing and in charge of positioning Marketo as the digital marketing industry’s innovation leader and the best solution for high-growth and enterprise businesses. Previously, Pattabhiram was head of worldwide marketing for Badgeville where he was part of the team that won multiple industry awards for innovative storytelling including the Best Platform-as-a-Service for 2013. Prior to that, Pattabhiram was vice president at IBM Cast Iron Systems where he was responsible for all product marketing and channel marketing efforts. In 2010, IBM acquired Cast Iron as a centerpiece of its Cloud strategy.
Pattabhiram also spent years at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as a strategic advisor to Fortune 500 companies in the high-tech, retail, and oil and gas industries. He has authored and has been quoted in more than 1000 articles and is a frequent keynote speaker at leading software industry events. In June 2017, he was named by LinkedIn as one of the top 5 CMOs in the world to follow for thought-leadership in the digital marketing domain.
Pattabhiram earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from PSG College of Technology and a M.S. in management from the University of Texas. He is a Strategic Board Advisor to Gainsight and LendingUSA and is on the Board of Directors for BlueShift, an AI platform for customer engagement.
Jean English joined Palo Alto Networks as chief marketing officer in August 2019. She has more than 20 years of business-to-business marketing experience. Most recently, she served as senior vice president and CMO at NetApp. Previously, Jean spent 17 years at IBM in a variety of roles, including vice president of Global Marketing for IBM Cloud, and led the go-to-market transformation for IBM’s cloud business. During her tenure with IBM, she also served as CMO for IBM Asia Pacific, wherein she was responsible for all aspects of marketing, communications and citizenship. Jean serves on the board of ATHENA International and is a member of the National Charity League. Both organizations focus on helping women develop and strengthen their leadership skills.
Stacy Greiner is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Dun & Bradstreet, a leading global provider of business decisioning data and analytics. In this role, Stacy leads the company’s global brand and marketing strategy and operations, focusing on delivering innovative programming that drives sales and growth.
Stacy has spent over two decades helping organizations around the world use emerging technologies, data and analytics to better serve their customers, create new business models, and transform their operations.?Prior to Dun & Bradstreet, she was CMO at DMI, a global digital services firm, where she transformed marketing into a modern growth engine to enable the company’s rapid expansion.
Previously, Stacy led marketing for Cisco System’s Software Platforms Group, building its business in edge analytics. She also served as the first CMO for DXC’s Big Data and Analytics division.?Before DXC, Stacy was Director of Marketing at IBM, where she led product marketing for the Business Analytics division.?She started her career as a Technology Consultant at Accenture at the company’s Center for Strategic Technology.
Stacy holds a BS in aerospace engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Carol Carpenter joined VMware in June 2020 as chief marketing officer. As CMO, Carpenter is responsible for leading all aspects of the Global Marketing organization, which includes Corporate Marketing, Partner, Segment and Field Marketing.
Carpenter brings to the role more than 25 years of technology sector experience. Most recently, she was vice president, Product Marketing at Google Cloud. Over the past three and a half years, Carpenter and the team led the transformation of Google Cloud from its early stage to its leadership position in cloud – building the team, crafting the brand positioning and campaign playbooks, enabling sales and the shift from products to solutions in its go-to-market. Prior to Google Cloud, Carpenter was the CEO of ElasticBox (acquired by CenturyLink) and held leadership and marketing roles in technology at Trend Micro, Keynote Systems and Apple and more.
Carpenter holds a bachelor of arts in economics degree from Stanford University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
