He has played an instrumental role in setting up the Alternative Investment and Manager Selection business in India for Goldman Sachs and Private Equity Secondary business (managed a fund of USD 50 million) for Abu Dhabi Capital Management.

Kumar Ganapathy is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor and founder of Enterprise Labs, a startup "foundry" focused on the Enterprise Cloud infrastructure in Silicon Valley. As part of Enterprise Labs, he is currently the CEO of Akridata (Edge Data platform), and on the boards of PrimaryIO, Ampool, and Deepvision. Kumar is an active angel investor especially for impact startups working to drive societal change through entrepreneurship. He is currently a Director and founder of 3iPartners, an early stage impact fund that invests in promising social entrepreneurs in India in areas of Agriculture, Livelihood, Education and Healthcare. Kumar has founded two successful start-ups over the past 20 years across Telecom and Enterprise IT infrastructure : (a) VxTel (acquired by Intel for $550M), and (b) Virident (acquired by Western Digital for $685M). Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Kumar was Principal Engineer and Fellow of Conexant and Rockwell Semiconductor. Kumar has received his Ph.D from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC), MS from University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology at Chennai. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award from IIT Madras, Fellow of Conexant/Rockwell, and Siemens Gold medal winner at IIT. Kumar has over 75 patents and 12 technical publications.Mahesh Kanumury has over 20 plus years of experience in venture capital, management consulting and operating experience. He is the Managing Director & Founder of Arivali Partners where he provides investment and advisory services to social enterprises. He was the General Partner at a $260M early stage venture capital fund based out of the Silicon Valley where he invested and successfully nurtured the growth and successful exit of several technology companies. He also worked at McKinsey in the US and India where he led a number of high-impact initiatives at the CXO level.
Prior to McKinsey, he worked at Schlumberger Technologies and Research where he led large scale software development efforts. He is Independent Director on the Board of Caspian Impact Investments Private Limited and also Director on the Board of Basix Sub-K Itransactions Limited. He holds MBA Degree from Harvard Business School, an MS in Engineering from Purdue University and BS in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.
Abhijit has over 28 years of diverse experience in development finance, commercial banking and microfinance. At Unitus Capital, Abhijit played a key role in developing and building the firm's business, particularly in the financial inclusion sector Previously, Abhijit was an AGM with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), where he led SIDBI's transformational role in the Indian Microfinance space. Abhijit started his career with the State Bank of India (SBI), where he worked in a variety of business areas in six different locations within India. Abhijit has co-authored articles on microfinance and impact investing in international journals and is regularly quoted in leading national dailies in India. Abhijit has a Bachelors degree in Economics from Kolkata University and is a Certified Associate of IIBF, Mumbai. He has also attended the School of Applied Microfinance Program in Kenya and the Program on Strategic Leadership for Microfinance at the Harvard Business School. Abhijit has a passion for sports and loves to play whenever the gets time. His favorite sports are Cricket, football, badminton and table tennis.
